AF Marathon Spectator Gathering Site
Sept. 20, 2025 • 8:00 am - noon
Downtown Fairborn
The Fly Zone is a place, an event and a way to support our troops. It also, just so happens to be the ideal place (between mile 14 through mile 16) on the 26.2-mile US Air Force Marathon course for friends, family and spectators to see the marathoners. Not once, but the only chance to see them twice! Marathoners enter downtown Fairborn on mile 14 and return on the base at mile 16. The Fairborn Fly Zone is also one way the Miami Valley can support our troops, the Air Force and last but not least the marathon runners.
